Meet Our Pastor
Clifton C. Conrad, Sr. is a native of Baton Rouge, LA and a 1974 graduate of Tara High. He graduated from the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now ULL) with a B.S. in Education in 1980 and a M. Ed in Guidance and Counseling in 1985. He completed ‘Course of Study’ at Perkins School of Theology in 1997 and received his Master of Divinity degree from Gammon School of Theology, in 2007. He has served the Calvary United Methodist Church in Thibodaux, Immanuel United Methodist Church in Lafayette, St. Mark United Methodist Church in Opelousas and Camphor Memorial United Methodist Church in Baton Rouge, and Asbury-St. Matthew United Methodist Church of New Orleans. He was ordained as an Elder in Full-Connection in June of 2010.

Pastor Conrad retired from the Lafayette Parish School System in 2006 after serving as a Science teacher and a School Counselor. He is the past president of the Acadiana District United Methodist Men, past president of the Fellowship of Associate Members and Local Pastors for the Louisiana Annual conference, and past KRS and Basileus of the Upsilon Rho Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. He currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Board of Ordained Ministry for the Louisiana Annual Conference.

He and his wife, Kathleen, have been married for 41 years. They have two children, Clifton, Jr., who currently resides in Huntsville, AL and Chantel, who is currently residing in Lafayette, LA.
